This site is run by me, Shannon Holly. Here’s what happens to your information if you use it.

Newsletter

When you sign up for my newsletter I collect your email address, and your first name if you give it. I use them only to send you the newsletter. The emails go out through MailerLite, who store your details on my behalf — their privacy policy is at mailerlite.com. Every email has an unsubscribe link, and if you’d like your details deleted entirely, email me and I’ll do it.

Contact form

When you use my contact form I receive your name, email address and message. They’re stored in this website’s database and emailed to me so I can reply. I don’t use them for anything else, and I don’t add you to my newsletter.

Buying a book

If you buy a signed copy directly from me, the transaction is handled by Payhip. I receive your name and delivery address so I can ship the book and you are automatically subscribed to my email. You can unsubscribe @ anytime or just don’t click the confirmation email. I never see your card details.

Cookies

This site uses only the cookies WordPress needs to work. I don’t run advertising trackers. MailerLite may set a cookie to remember you’ve already seen the signup form.

Your rights

You can ask what data I hold about you, ask me to correct it, or ask me to delete it. Email [email protected] and I’ll sort it out.

I don’t sell your information to anyone, ever.
